About The River of Life Worship Center
In our Sunday evening service at The River of Life Worship Center, we have one primary focus, WORSHIP. Our anointed, Spirit-led, mostly prophetic music will help direct your attention and your heart to the King of kings and the Lord of lords, Jesus Christ. Because God has promised an outpouring of His Spirit in eastern North Carolina, we are choosing to do our part to provide an atmosphere for revival in Wilmington. Since God inhabits the praises of His people and seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth, the holy atmosphere of worship always brings the tangible presence of God into our services. The freedom to praise and worship our God in whatever manner He leads is an experience you will not soon forget.
Our desire is to provide an atmosphere that exalts Jesus Christ and opens the heavens for the Holy Spirit to save, deliver, heal, and speak prophetically into someone's life. The testimonies that have resulted from these services sound like a continuation of the book of Acts. The River of Life Worship Center is not a church. It is a place for "the church to worship together and experience the presence of the living God. We also meet on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM at The River of Life Worship Center for a Teaching Session on Faith by Gary Faulkner. The desperate need for revival in the body of Christ compels us to pray and pray unceasingly. Most agree that worship is the highest form of prayer. When you combine Spirit-led worship and the earnest heartfelt prayer of intercession together, there is unprecedented results. Every great move of God throughout history has been "birthed in" through prayer. The Holy Spirit fell on the early church in the second chapter of Acts when they were in one accord praying and worshiping. A true revival has been prophesied and is coming to eastern NC in the near future. We believe that true revival is not a series of special meetings with sensational advertising and a fiery preacher, but the Holy Spirit sweeping across our city in supernatural power that causes every store to become a pulpit, every heart an altar, every home a sanctuary, and people of all races to walk softly before a Holy God.
